Harvey knew Paige had wanted to go home, and he knew it was his work's fault they hadn't had a chance to plan it. Well now, now he had a chance to fix it. He made some calls and chartered a private plane for them. He waited for her to get home, having bags packed for them, as well as all of their Christmas gifts for one another, as well as her family in a bag to go with them.

Paige was very much a holiday person. She had been spending the time apart from Harvey doing all the holiday stuff. And now she was dressed in her favorite Christmas sweater with everything immaculately wrapped and just making one last trip to the post office to drop off a few last minute Christmas cards. She came walking in the door humming to herself.

"Hey, honey. I thought you had to go in to work today?" she asked. Then again that could've been just the excuse he used so she didn't find out.

"No, just needed time to pull off an epic surprise." He smiled gently, nodding to the packed bags. "We are going on a trip."

Paige just stared at him. "We can't go anywhere. It's four days to Christmas. The airports will be a nightmare."

"Not if we fly by private jet." He smiled gently and took her hand.

"Honey, are you sure we can afford..." Paige started, before she remembered who she was talking to. Money was not an object in their marriage. She shook her head. "I'll have to call my mother. I already told her we weren't coming. She'll have to set two more places at the table. But she'll really love to see you. You know she loves you."

"I know going home for the holidays would make you really happy, and you know how I love doing that." He smiled and kissed her tenderly. "Just me and you on the plane. Well pilot and a few staff. No crying children, no being squished by others."

"This is really nice of you, sweetheart. Thank you." She kissed him back and wrapped her arms around him. Paige's family meant a lot to her but she hadn't said anything about it because she knew Harvey's work was important to him, too. "When do we leave?"
